WACOG 2024 Report

Our Annual Report to the Community is to inform you of the achievements of our social
and human services programs. I am pleased to share with you an inspiring 2024.

Each year we strategically plan to serve those in greatest need with resources within
our reach. We assess local needs in partnership with the communities we serve,
including elected officials, private sector representatives, and low-income residents. For
more than fifty years, even during times of uncertainty, we have pushed forward with
confidence. Pivoting from our commitment to strengthen communities and empower
people has never been an option.

I was recently asked if I considered our agency an agent of change or a service provider.
While our services can be short-term, our work impacts the lives of thousands of
people annually. Each year we witness individuals and families progressing from being
vulnerable or in crisis to stable or safe on their journey to self-sufficiency.
